Dr. Michael Juarez
Dr. Michael is a dedicated mental health professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in clinical psychology. Dr. Michael obtained an Executive Master in Business Administration at the University of Southern California. Dr. Juarez previously earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from California Lutheran University, where he also completed a master’s in clinical psychology and served as the vice-president of the Psi Chi Honors Society.
As the President and CEO of Alternative Action Programs Wellness Center and ClearChoice Consultants, Dr. Michael leads initiatives in mental health and business consulting. He holds various roles, including Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at the Brandon Cruz Foundation, and has extensive experience managing programs at IMCES in Los Angeles, specializing in school-based and specialized adolescent psychosis.
An accomplished educator and speaker, Dr. Michael has taught courses in multicultural awareness and trauma counseling at universities in Santa Barbara, California and authored several presentations on the intersection of addiction, domestic violence, and mental health. His commitment to community awareness and advocacy is reflected in his involvement with various organizations, as well as publication of his dissertation research on recidivism in therapeutic contexts.
Dr. Juarez is passionate about empowering individuals and communities affected by substance abuse, intimate partner violence, striving to promote recovery and resilience. His passion extends into business consulting.
